Privacy notice
Last updated: 4 November 2026
This notice explains what personal information achsanya.com collects, why, and your rights. The data controller is Linkit Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13490059), registered office 34 Fairview Road, London N15 6LL. For any privacy question or request, email info@linkitlondon.com.
What we collect
- Hosts: your name, email address, mobile number and password (stored only in scrambled form, never readable), and the details and photos of the properties you list, including the address.
- Guests who send an enquiry: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, dates, number of guests and your message.
- Contact counts: when a guest taps Call or WhatsApp, or sends an enquiry, we record that it happened and for which property (not who tapped).
- Visitor numbers: to see how the website is used, we count which pages are opened, the website or app you came from, whether you use a phone or computer, and your language. Your connection is turned into a scrambled code that changes every day and can't be traced back to you, so we can count each visitor once a day without cookies. We never store your IP address for this, and we keep the counts for two years.
- Technical information: our hosting provider keeps short-term server logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the website secure and working.
Why we use it
- To run your host account and show your listing to guests (to provide the service you asked for).
- To pass a guest's enquiry to the host they chose, so the host can reply (to provide the service you asked for).
- To send emails about your account and listings, such as confirming your email or telling you a listing is approved (to provide the service).
- To check listings, prevent misuse and keep the website secure (our legitimate interests).
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
What guests can see
Guests see a listing's street name and postcode, never the house number. Maps show only the general area. A host's phone number is shown when a guest taps Call or WhatsApp, and enquiries are emailed to the host with the guest's details.
Who helps us
- Render hosts the website and its database (servers in Frankfurt, Germany).
- Resend sends our emails (from servers in Ireland).
- Google Maps provides address search, maps and walking times. When you use these, your browser connects to Google.
Some of these companies are based in the USA. Where information leaves the UK or EU, they protect it with the legal safeguards the law requires.
Cookies and storage
We use one cookie, only to keep hosts logged in. Your browser also remembers your language choice and that you confirmed the kosher standards, so we don't ask again. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep host accounts and listings until you ask us to delete them. Enquiry emails are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it. Email info@linkitlondon.com and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (or, in Belgium, the Data Protection Authority).
